SBG028: Diving

A gannet (Morus bassanus) hitting the water at the end of its dive. At the final stage of the dive, the bird will tuck its wings back like a dart and can reach a depth of up to 6m below the surface. Taken in the North Minch, Outer Hebrides, Scotland.
