NZ021: Heron

I spent three days in Kaikoura because it was so recommended as a great area for wildlife, and I certainly wasn't disappointed. A little way south of the town and taking myself away from the crowds I found this rather stunning heron who was happy to come right up to me while it fished in the rockpools. This is another shot that was well worth the wet feet!
