The ROV Holland 1 was fitted out with a customised lander for deploying on the seabed in the Rockall Trough at approximately 800m as part of the Changing Oceans 2012 research cruise. ROVs are hghly flexible pieces of equipment and can be adapted to a variety of purposes.
