A patchwork 360 degree panorama shot from the back deck of the RRS James Cook during the Changing Oceans 2012 research cruise. For four weeks, we were alone in our ship in the middle of the north-east Atlantic conducting research into the deep-sea environments of Rockall Bank and the Rockall Trough.
