I am a professional marine ecologist, originally from Scotland and currently living in Florida, USA and working as an Associate Professor at Nova Southeastern University where I try to understand the deep sea a little better.

My photographs on these pages celebrate the marine life and environments of the world, particularly highlighting the beauty of Scotland's coastal and underwater environments where I grew up. You'll also find images taken over the course of my career working on and around the oceans from the coast to the deep seas!
