SBP001: Ringed Plovers

Ringed plovers are little wading birds that are resident around most of the UK coast, and can be found along sandy or gravelly coasts, as well as in freshwater environments. This photograph was taken on a beautifully still evening at the bay in Inverary, just after this little group took off.
