MMP008: Grey Seal

This is one of the grey seals (Halichoerus grypus) that lives in the harbour in Stornoway and feeds on discards from the trawler fleet. They're virtually tame animals! The species can be distinguished from the harbour seal by the larger body size and 'Roman nose'.
