MCA Underwater Photography Guidelines

16th May 2009
With the summer diving season now well and truly here in the UK, I thought it would be a good time to draw a bit of attention to the Marine Conservation Society's guidelines for underwater photography, which is available in full as a pdf through that link.

The guide is designed to inform underwater photographers about how to best take photographs of underwater wildlife without damaging or disturbing either the marine life or the environment around it. With a bit of luck, it will also help you get better photos of unstressed animals behaving perfectly naturally, whether you are diving in the UK or abroad.

Happy diving!
