IDD004: Eunice norvegicus - Deep Sea Species
The tube-worm Eunice norvegicus creates tubes on the deep-sea coral Lophelia pertusa. Although the tubes are quite delicate to begin with, the coral will calcify the structure over time, making it much tougher than anything the worm could build on its own.
