WDP010: Killer whales - Whales, Dolphins and Porpoise
Orca are present in Scottish waters, but are one of the rarer mammals to see and photograph. The Orca are actually the largest species of dolphin, and are not whales despite the common name. This image is of a mother and calf, and was taken in British Columbia where the species is more frequently seen.
