HTF008: Curled octopus - Trawl Fisheries
This is a curled octopus (Eledone cirrhosa) that was brought up as bycatch in a Nephrops (langoustine) trawl. Other small fish and seaweed are also visible. The curled octopus is common around Scottish waters, unlike the common octopus which is only found in the south of England.
