SBK001: Great Skua - Skuas
A great skua (Catharacta skua) in flight. These large predatory birds are common in the north of the Hebrides, Orkneys and Shetland in the summer months and they are commonly seen behind trawlers. They will attack other birds to steal their food, and will quite happily kill smaller seabirds and gulls.
