Gannet in Flight 3

My absolute favourite light for photographing white seabirds is when the sun is still out, but just before really heavy rain arrives in the deep blue-purple clouds we get so often here in Scotland. You end up with a gorgeous contrast between the heavy sky and the sun makes the white feathers glow.
