IDI014: Velvet Swimmer Crab

The velvet swimmer crab, Necora puber can be easily identified by its dark shell colour and bright red eyes. Like all swimming crabs, the last pair of walking limbs are flattened into paddle-like structures to allow them to swim quite effectively if necessary.
