Grey Heron: Trawler
This is a young grey heron (Ardea cinerea) that has recently discovered the benefits of stealing scraps from fishing trawlers once they have come back into harbour. It has become quite bold around people and was quite happy to investigate the hopper on our boat while we were still working on board.
